Paul Herrington RH opening batsman

Club junior manager and wearer of bright tight clothes

A boring opening batsman with a scoring zone from through the slips to backward point. I enjoy opening as it gives me a test and a buzz against the best bowlers. As a Yorkshireman Sir Geoffrey Boycott is my great boyhood hero, closely followed by Sir Viv Richards and David Warner. The highlight of my cricketing career was captaining my university to the final of British colleges, where I made 35 runs in the first 4 overs!!!!!! I have played at Elworth for over 15 years and enjoyed every minute, its an amazing place to play cricket from the pitch to the people. I have 3 kids, love my golf and I am the owner of purple and lilac golf shoes together with a pink pair when the mood takes me, this helped me get to the semi-final of the club championship last year. All the gear No idea kind of sums me up. I'm looking to enjoy my 50th year playing a great game with my mates.
